The human perplexities of my heart, mind, and soul.An outlet for what lies beneath face value & into the spirit of what lays beyond.
God is Love 1 John 4:8
Gift of free will
I’ve decided to come back to my step work, making a more conscious effort of flowing with what universe beholds. My concept of God continues to change, evolve and mold constantly. He never ceases to surprise me. (:
“Many of us look over our world, and we say “How can there be a God such as the one you describe—infinitely kind, concerned and loving, with all the killing, starving, violence, and other forms of inhumanity going on? If there really were such a God, would He not put a stop to all this?” Such questions, it seems to us, are framed in the wrong context.
The question does not take into account the nature of the Power we have described. It implies that God is controlling, meddling, and directing with a heavy hand everything that goes on in the universe….in fact quite the opposite.
“The power of God is not controlling; it is sustaining. It is not meddling; it enhances human freedom. It is never used in restraining ways; thus it does not interfere with human beings’ free will.”

Growth, Healing, Gratitude
The only thing constant in the world is change.
That’s why I stay I take life as it comes…
I release all these disappointments,
from my mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional body
Cause I know that spirit guides me
And love lives inside me
That’s why I today I take life as it comes…
Thankful for relaxation, complication, hibernation and irrational
Seclusion, confusion, all of my impurity and insecurity
Cause I know it’s God just perfecting me
That’s why,
Today I take life as it comes…
We all have the great capacity to change within ourselves and the world around us. More justice, truth and love.
We all try by Sid Sriram (Frank Ocean Cover)
Heard this recently online and had to post.
Frankly, I believe it’s quite better than the original.
I believe Jehovah Jireh
I believe there’s heaven, I believe in war
I believe a woman’s temple
Gives her the right to choose but baby don’t abort
I believe that marriage isn’t
Between a man and woman but between love and love
And I believe you when you say that you’ve lost all faith
But you must believe in something, something, something
You gotta believe in something, something, ohhhhh
I still believe in man
A wise one asked me why
I don’t believe we’re wicked
I know that we sin but I do believe we try
We all try, the girls try, the boys try
Women try, men try, you and I try, try
I don’t believe in time travel
I don’t believe our nation’s flag is on the moon
I don’t believe our lives are simple
I don’t believe they’re short, this is interlude
I don’t believe my hands are cleanly
Can’t believe that you would let me touch your heart
I believe you when you said that you’ve lost all faith
You must believe in something, something, something
You gotta believe in something, something, something

“You are my peace of mind, that old me is left behind.”
Lauryn Hill.
God is so good.
“Love life. Engage in it. Give it all you’ve got. Love it with a passion because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it.”
Maya Angelou“Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.”
Proverbs 3:5

Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
begentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
